Hi folks this is my first post on the website,i have recently just bought a Cat D damaged 1.6 sprt A3.The passenger airbag has deployed.Can anyone tell me the price of airbag plus resetting computer(if this can be done).I have been informed that i have to buy a new ECU,can someone confirm if this is true.

hey there yes indeed the the components required can be most expensive
not so much so that it would out value the car itself.
But you would have to renew the ECU to overcome the problem (the most costly of the two items required) as they store crash codes and cannot be erased.
