I noticed that this is an option on the A8. Does any one know more about this? It appears to only be available on this model. When did they start offering this?

With the amount of highway miles I drive, I am wondering if there is an aftermarket alternative available for my A4, seeing as I don't quite yet have the $133K to get the A8 I really want. :lol:

i've never heard of an aftermarket solution... i'm sure you could buy an OEM system from audi for the A8 and install it in your A4 but would it be worth the effort? i used a similar system in a mercedes and was only slightly impressed... sure its a cool feature, but not signifigantly more useful than regular cruse control.
