Should I swap the wife's A class for an A2?

I have recently bought my wife an A Class A170 CDi 99 V. Its very economical and great space for
such a small car BUT I'm not completely happy with the quality ie Rattles etc.

Does anybody out there have any experience with an A2 diesel or petrol and what are the prices
like in comparison used between them.

Is the A2 much the same size as the A class inside too.

I drove the 1.4TDi A2, when my car was in for repair, and I loved it. It was more faster than I imagined, and really good fun. cool interior, I think it is far classier, and get the RSTT alloys, and it will look really cool too.

sorry for troubling u but i wanna know that is there any major diff bet A2 petrol and A2 diesel....when i was reading ur i got confused bet the two...can u help me..

Hi, the major diff between them is petrol has 4 sylinders =1.4 litres, the diesel has 3 sylinders and a blower (turbo) =1.2 litres, both have 75 bhp, petrol is a little faster too 60 but you need to rev it, the deisal feels faster this is because its lower reving and more torque plus it will do 20 mpg more. New A2's 1.6 fsi 110 bhp, 1.4 tdi =90 bhp ( the one to get ) hope this help

hi, YES SWAP IT NOW. Experience in petrol or diesel yes see above, prices are the same, dealers regester new cars to them selfs so they can sell them as second hand ones, that to you and me is a saving of £2000 ( lancaster audi liverpool)

size is about the same, the a class floor pan has step in it so the people sitting in the back are sitting higher than the front, the A2 floor pan is level giving more head room, you can take the rear seats out and turn it into a van when you do this you will think where the hells the spare wheel? well there is'nt one not even a space saver, what you get is a tin of fluid and a elecric pump fittered in the back to get you to home/ats see ya
