I have an Audi 80 2.0E (ABK - 1994), and had a few problems with the smoothness of the throttle.

I have checked for air leaks etc, cleaned the throttle body (thoroughly), and will check the ISV and clean tomorrow.

Since I removed the whole throttle body to clean (including the potentiometer), do I need to do a basic setting (as I did for the A4), or does it not exists for the A80??? The reason I ask is that the engine hesitates and pulls back when first applying the throttle, and when easing off.

I am familiar with using the VAG-COM interface to do a basic setting, and if it exists for the Audi 80, can anyone tell me what channel/group this is?

Thanks in advance
