I just replaced the front brake pads and rotors on my son's 2006 A4 3.2 and the low brake pad warning light on the dash is still on. I double checked the sensor wires to make sure they were clean and plugged in properly and no problems there. I also checked the brake fluid level and if anything it's a little high. Does this warning light have to be reset by the dealer, or is it something I can do?

Thanks for any help.

I would try to shortcut the sensor where it connects to the pad (on both sides) with a piece of wire. If the error goes away - there is something wrong on the pad side.
