Hi I am very new to this but I was hoping for some advice. I am very interested in buying an A3 and will be looking at either the 1.8T Sport or the 1.8 Quattro Sport. Both I understand have turbos and so was after some advice from owners as to what sort of things to look out for and if anyone has ever had any problems etc. I have tried looking around on the net but so far I have only really found praise.

Thanks for this. I have bought myself a 2000 T Sport and just changed the cambelt on it along with all pretensioners and water pump.... apart from that it has FSH so I think everything else is ok. Is there anything else that should be changed? I only found out about the cambelt through research etc!
