My 1997 1.8 A3 has developed a REALLY annoying squeak coming from inside the cockpit.

Sounds like its somewhere around the head liner, possibly the seals around the sunroof but I've checked them and they're still soft.
Anybody got any suggestions?

Hi,

yeah I have the same problem when I go over 80mph. Did you ever work out what it was?

I know what you mean, it's real annoying but at 80mph or above isn't the time to be looking for squeaks!

I also get a rattle from my dash somewhere at low revs, do you?
