Hello,

My company has a number of 2003 model A3's , two are pool cars, and are left for sometimes a week or more without driving.

Why would the battery on one of the pool cars have below 12V charge in it after just one week?

Is it possible that the battery is defective after just two years?

The car is standard as out of the factory with no mobile phone car kits or similar fitted.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem on their A3's?

Thanks in advance,

James Copp-Taylor

hey there sometimes not driving a car is more detromental to it than not I would
suggest having the car started and run on a regular basis or having a simple
drop test carried out to the battery (after a full overnight charge ) However you said the car was only 2 years old surely the vehicle is still under warranty ??
