Hi All,

I have a new 2022 UK spec S4 (tdi engine) with 2880 miles on it from new. Over time during the run in I noticed from about 1500 miles on the MMI engine oil dipstick going down.

The manual suggests that this is normal during the first 5000miles.

I just topped it up and it took 400ml of oil.

is this normal or should I be concerned.

Looks like this is normal they say consumption generally occurs in the first 3000 mls I would change the oil @ 5000 then every year or 10000 after that good luck!
