The headliner on my 2009 A4 Quatro has begun to sag in the rear. Really disappointed in that it's always been garaged and has very low miles. The dealer quoted be an arm and a leg and the upholstery aren't too much less. Evidently the only way to remove/replace the headliner is through the windshield which means a removal of that as well and keeping your fingers crossed they don't break it.

Is that part true?

Then there's finding the headliner replacement. The shops I've spoken with say that repairing the existing headliner is not recommended because of the foam used in the original construction. Any repair may only last 1-2 years.

Is that part true as well?

Any recommended sources for replacement headliners?
