Hello New to the forum.

Just ordered a A3 3.2, should be here end of Feb.

Salesman couldn't answer this question for me.

I ordered the NAV and it of course has the CD change in the glove compartment, blah, blah.

Will the NAV play cds with MP3 on them? I know it has the two SD slots, just curious about the CDs. I'm think why wouldn't it.

Unfortunately it’s not, as far as I’m aware of (though I don’t own Audi Sat Nav) and that maybe explains why Audi put SD card slats in there. I doubt it can even read the CD text.

It can only play MP3 when you insert the cd in the DVD drive of the navigation.

Argh, that sucks.

Only play when inserted into the DVD slot, does that mean I could fill a data DVD with MP3s?

Hmmm, thats disappointing. I figured with 6 slots I could have pretty much my entire collection on in the car.

Is there any good sources on what can you (or better yet hack) do to the NAV system? For example is there some way to make it play a movie?
