I am looking at a 2005 A8L and I have been told that there are two models:

1) the ones (that are being discontinued) come with On-Star installed and have no Bluetooth support
2) the newer ones that have no On-Star (apparetnly dicsontinued for 2005 and on), but have Bluetooth.

Does anyone know anything about this?
Has anyone bought and used any Bluetooth phones with AUDIs? Which phones?

Thank you.

Yes, I currently use a Sony Ericcson z600 with a Parrot aftermarket bluetooth kit. It works really well except that it doesn't mute the radio and uses an external speaker. Someone claims to have a diagram that let's you hook it up so that it mute and comes thru your B pillar speakers.

Thanks for the info. I hear so many problems with those bluetooth phones, it makes you wonder why they bothered to begin with.

Does your phone use a cradle?

No, I keep it on the ashtray or my armrest. It really does work well. I have also tried the Nokia. That too works well.

Good luck
