2004 S4 Losing Antifreeze

Has anyone experienced problems with their S4 losing antifreeze or for that matter losing oil; but it not leaking out onto the ground, in other words what appears to be an internal leak?

I hate to assume the worst, that I have warped block, or a cracked head, or a cracked block, and would even hope that it is just a leaky head gasket.

Any of the above is not good.

Has anybody had an issue like this, and what did Audi do for you? What tests did you request? A cylinder leak-down test? Did you have to request a new engine? How did Audi treat you? How did the dealer treat you?

you're losing both antifreeze and oil? i'd have it checked out at the dealer.. regardless itll be covered by warranty
I had a problem with my 2003 S4 losing coolant and no obvious deposits on the floor.

It turned out that the "crimp" clips on the radiator had pierced the very fine tubing on the outermost part of the main radiator and created a very small leak that would evapourate very quickly when hot and just dissapate when cold.

Check the tubing around the "crimping" on the front panel of the radiator and the very front of the car.

This turned out to be a warranty job... good luck.
