hello guys..
whats up up!
I have a 2003 Audi allroad quattro and have a pretty nice new deck
I would like to put in it. Just wondering if anyone else has replaced
the head unit ONLY ?? If so did it sound as good as the factory radio
did. Im just a little worried about it because the factory bose
sounds so damn good I just dont want to spend the money on an
install to have the sound quality go down...
Or if you have had any other issues related to this topic let me know

usually there isnt any problem with the new head unit working with the stock speakers and amp. i've heard people who have aftermarket head units complaining about lack of bass outta the stock 3" woofer in the trunk. if that happens, best bet is to replace the woofer with something alittle bigger, and run another amp for the woofer directly off the new head unit so its not competing with the speaker amp.

just out of curiousity.. why are you replacing the stock h/u?
