I am looking to buy a 2001 Audi A4 1.8t with about 40,000 miles on the clock. My questions are how reliable are these cars? What known problems am i going to experience pretty much not matter what? How good are these turbos? Can i expect atleast 100,000 out of the turbos producing good boost still? How are the suspensions, are there any known problems other than normal wear?

I need to be sure i am spending my money on the right car.

Is this price good $15999 with 34,700 miles?

Thanks
Scott

the turbos will be fine thru 100,000 miles... you'll need to replace the diverter valve sometime over that time, if it has not already been done (the OEM ones are iffy) ... thats not expensive. also, the timing belt may need to be changed by then... then again it may not
