Have your radio code handy just in case! That being said... When you swap the main car battery the radio should have enough stored energy internally to keep it up for a while. You will loose the clock and have to reset it. You will also clear any warnings from your ECU (MIL etc..) don't worry, they'll come back.
After replacement of the battery my digital clock was reset. That's fine. But afterwards it is not longer synchronised with radio signal as it was before. Anybody knows how to turn it back? My A8 is m.y. 2000.
I've read in the manual that if it doesn;t have the signal for 3 days then it switches to normal digital clock, manually adjusted. But nothing about switching back.
