I have been using a Bosch 3421 Oil filter on my Audi A4 (it was recommended in a local auto store oil filter cross reference guide). I was recently told this is not a "real" Bosch Oil filter number and that all Bosch filters start with 72.

Is this true?

I have a same problem, i am even confused what oil filter should i use? What have you found yet?
