Hi

I have a 1993 2.3 Cabriolet and the warning light that tells you the roof is not closed properly is now always on. I used to be able to give the T-bar a quick 90 degree turn and back and that used to solve the problem.

it's now annoying on 2 fronts - the windows drop every time I turn the ignition and the light flashes on and off all the time.

Is there a was of fixing this? Is there a fuse that I can remove to disable the sensor completely? I'm not bothered if the windows no longer drop when I open the roof - it always seemed to be an unnecesary safety feature in any case.

Thanks

Neil

well i seem to have rectified this problem myself (not sure for how long though). A quick squirt of WD40 down the holes above the windscreen and it all works well now.
