I have a dumb question... I just had a guy replace my rusted out fuel lines. He replaced the high pressure with steel, but replaced the return line with rubber. He said this should be fine because of the low pressure. The car runs great!

Looking under the car to see his work, I noticed that there is a 3rd line that runs the length of the car parallel with the supply and return lines ?? (not the brake line)

Just wondering what this 3rd line is for???

I THINK it is the breather pipe from the tank to the activated charcoal filter solenoid (based on 2.0E Cabrio of similar age)
