Car was running brilliantly and now wont start. Tries but nothing happening, just turning over and over.

Tried a few sprays of starting fluid which did nothing.

Getting the distrubutor cap off isn't easy with one of the clips in the back side not very accessible. Nothing cracked, leaking or otherwise.

Other options I have read about are fuel filter, cold start valve or fuel tank vent valve...need to locate these still.

I am sure it is a simple fix...open to suggestions.

First time it happened I cleaned out the distributor cap and that sorted it.

Second time it was the temperature sensor. Easy and cheap fix.

Third time it was the timing belt which was shredded to bits thanks to a pulley that stop turning. $400 for the new kit.

Runs brilliant now. Starts easy, uses less fuel and runs quietly.
