Hey guys, I don't know much about Audis and watercooled VWs, I'm very familiar with the Aircooled VW, Porsches, and even the Porsche 944 series, but not with Audis.
I am looking getting a 1990 Audi 80, it has the 2.0 motor, is this exactly the same as the VW 2.0 motor, even the computer? I was wondering becasue I can't find a whole lot of aftermarket for the 80, but there is a good deal of aftermarket stuff for VWs. More specifically, I was wondering about a cam up grade, and I can find a pretty good amount of options for the Jetta 2.0 motor.
Also, has anyone heard of this "Jet ECM recalibration" for the 2.0 motor?
Thanks in advance.

I am not completely sure about the Jetta engines but the injection of Audi's and VW's tends to be different I think. The Audis seem to mostly use the mostly mechanical Continuous Injection System whereas the VWs use a Pulsed Injection system, hence the computers are unlikely to be the same.
