does any one know how much boost the 1.8 motor has stock and how much boost can it handle on the stock motor

Boost?

I was curious about that ques too. I got a 1.8 as well. my guy says it goes around 5lbs stock and u can throw up to 10(stock) but of course throw a tune on it cuz its gone give you issues if you don't.

1.8t 180 hp 11 and the 225 hp 15 can handle 30 on the 225 and 27 on the 180 on a regular basis

boostin that much...hhmmm. how long cud the motor last if u stress it that hard? My guy is selling me his hks super sub sequential ver. 3. cud i use it? or do i need the forge steel style bov instead??? Bcuz of the re circ issue?

is this the item??????: The newly designed SSQV3D uses a “boost drive controller” for positive boost operation.

This new system can be used on vehicles which have no vacuum signal, such as diesel engines as well as conventional turbo vehicles by wiring into the accelerator pedal position or throttle sensor signal at the ecu.

An on/off switch allows the SQV to be switched on or off at any time. A trigger switch can also allow the activation of the SQV on demand.
