Beware- Parts Geek.com

I have posted questions earlier on a problem that I was having after replacing my fuel pump in my 1.8T. After replacing the pump from PARTS GEEK .com ($275 !) the car was very hard starting, and especially when it got below a half of a tank it didn't want to start at all ! For three months I tried everything but nothing helped.
I Finally bit the bullit a went to the DEALER and bought another pump,(for ONLY $10 MORE than PARTS GEEK!!) Installed it and now the car starts fine!

Internet companies will not accept any returns on parts that have been installed, so if you think your going to save money by buying after market parts BEWARE. it could cost you much more!!

I agree.....Not that I'm biased.

Always try the Audi dealer first then make your choice. Cheaper parts can be a false economy.
