Help please I'm not 100% bout the audi electrical system

I'm looking at a 2001 audi 1.8t but it will not start turn over and the solenoid won't click there's an epc light that's comes on the dash. Is this a sensor problem? Or could it be something more simpler? The car 90000 miles on it and has sat for over a yr. Is it possible to roll start it? Any advice or information would be great thanks!

EPC light on stand for there is problem with your car electronic power control system.
It could be a simple problem with bad wiring, and could be serious with one of your cars electronic control systems.
Did you ever added some after-market components?

Not that I'm aware of what about a safety clutch sensor? Could that be a possibility of it not starting? Could it be roll started?

Battery's ok? or the points in the distributor may be burned. The gas pump or filter may be clogged...

I did everything I possible could with out hooking up a computer on it. Tomorrow I will try to hook up a remote starter which bypasses all the electronics for the most part. If the anti theft is on will the engine start? How do I clear it without a vag com? Is there a way?
