Identifying bosch sensor

In the picture:

The Bosch code is 0280120418.
I have seen on the web that it is installed on the AUDI 100 throttle body.
I should need (for a project i'm involved in) the following information:

- is it a double action pot (one plug for idle/wot switch + the other for throttle position sensor)?
- If yes what's its idle speed signal in volts?
- Is it driven by a D profile shaft? Counterclockwise or clockwise with respect to the picture?
- What's the AUDI part number?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Quite close...The one you mention is the 0280120433 not 418 (the one in the picture).
I'm quite sure that the 433 is a switch + pot sensor, but don't know anything about the 418.
Anyway do you know the direction of rotation of the 433 with respect to the picture?
Has it a D profile drive?
Thank a lot.

Sorry, I do not - may be others with NF engine could open the hood and check. There should be wiring diagram and electrical testing procedure in elsa. Did you check if there is datasheet from bosch?

I finally found something here:
it may be useful to others:

Audi20v.net - Audi 20v Online Resource | Service Manual | Data Book | Forum | Vehicle Registry | Audi | Quattro | 20 valve | Coupe | 90 Quattro | AWD

It is quite complete, but it still lack the spin direction of the sensor and the shape of the driving shaft (D profile?).

I found that it is a D profile driving rod (by looking at some pictures) and that it is counter clockwise (looking at the back of the sensor).

The only thing that i'm missing is if this 0280120433/418 has a double switch (idle + WOT) integrated.
It is very simple to check it is just sufficient to get a tester, connect on the 3 pins plugs the alligators and check for continuity (buzzing sound from the tester or 0 Ohms reading) at idle and WOT on:

center pin - another pin, one connector at a time, obviously.

From what reported here:
http://www.audi20v.net/home/index.ph...idle-switches-
it seems the answer is no, it is not a double switch integrated pot sensor.
But unfortunately the AUDI p/n in the article is different from the actual 433 Bosch sensor AUDI p/n.

The 0280120418 (don't know the 433) is a D profile drive, counter clockwise (with respect to the back of the sensor), double switch (idle and wot) + pot unit.
