2001 225hp tt no fuel?? help please
I bought a car that had been sitting for 2.5 years. light front end collision that inly requires a new rad support and lights..no frame damage. 2001 tt roadtster 225hp. the fuel pump was blown along with the fuse. changed both and are working properly including the relay(not sure of pressure as I don't know where to test it and how) but once the pump cycled a few times to prime back the line it seemed to only need to run when cranking, new filter and had injectors cleaned (for no reason, thought they were clogged but they were like new) I checked the fuel rail plugs for current, seems fine -3.5v at key on and pulses to 7-10v durniing crank (possibly higher but my meter does not react fast enough) I am still not getting fuel into the intake, I remove the rail and pour some down and it gets up and runs till the fuel is burnt up. does anyone know what else to look at. can I trick the pressure regulator to build more pressure temporarily maybe?? or is there a way to test it to make sure it is doing what it should...I seem to be getting fuel to that point in the rail as when I removed the injectors ther was some pressure and fuel gurgled out (filled 2 shop rags.)
I want to run this thing asap.....
any and all help would be good and well appreciated
thanks to everyone who chimes in
