Not sure of the dimensions I'm afraid. To get to the chain drive we removed the gearbox first to work on the rear of the engine, however I know of someone who has recently removed a V8 to reseal the rear chaincase as it had an oil leak(not common) The Audi Valve Lift System (AVS) uses electronic controlled plungers to engage in a slot in the camshaft to alternate between different lobes and not oil pressure.

I'll have to trawl around to get the dimensions I guess.

Sounds a bit better than the honda and nissan versions. I just e-mailed back for that vid. Thanks.

hello fella.... just a thought, may be worth giving this guy a call, i was looking on his website lastnight about tuning mods other than a chip lol, if he doesnt know its unlikley any of us mortals will...

Hey 13urt, thanks for the link. Hah I just also realised someone over at MTM might be able to give me some info, I know they probably won't be overly chatty but just some basics and how far you can take the engine as well as tuning issues could be possible. I mean they do have that 800+BHP R8 sitting around don't they?
