Advice on Performance Chips

Just bought an Audi A4 Quattro Avant and am considering a performance chip.

I have read some of them don't work and will actually turn your check engine light on. So I appreciate your Advice.

The Volo chip is on Amazon for $90. Volo claims not to change the rev or speed limiters.

Another review says 'real Performance Computers', like JET, HYPERTECH, SUPERCHIPS, and factory-brand performance computers, will do what they claim and give your engine more horsepower and torque. These computers work just like your factory ECU, but they are pre-programmed to advance your vehicle's timing, raise the engines over-rev limiter, fuel injector opening and closing timing, and raise or eliminate your vehicles top-speed limiter.

Thank you.
