I have an airbag leaking at #2 height. I'm waiting for my Armott bags to arrive, but I've been keeping the car from sinking by keeping it at height level #3. The only time I have to be careful is if I happen to go over 80km/h (50mph) and the car lowers itself to level #2 automatically. Then if I don't catch it right away and slow down, it's on the bottom within about five minutes.
If it DOES sink, though, I've had success pulling over, shutting down, then using the jack to raise the corner where the leak is to approximately level #3. Then, I start the car, manually select level #3 on the dash and wait a couple of minutes for it to fill the airbag back up. Then, it's fine again until the next time I inadvertently go over 80 again.
The airbags rot and leak where they roll back on themselves. If the car is ALWAYS at #2 height, then it'll eventually rot and leak at #2 height. I'll bet that if you put it at #3 as described above, you ghetto drive it to the shop yourself and save the hundreds of towing $$$...
It's worth a shot!
Hope it works.
