Yes, this is definitely very frustrating. And it sounds like we have the exact same problem, whatever it may be.
Does anyone think it might be the idle rpm control valve? I don't know if that has anything to do with starting or not, but I'm grasping at straws.
I checked the grounds. They all seem to be intact and secure. Maybe a little corrosion around the bolt, but not much.
I'm not sure what to try next. Does this engine have an rpm sensor or hall sensor, or is that the same as the camshaft position sensor I already replaced?
