where to get parts for an 80 in perth

Gday all, i have just aquired a 92 audi 80 2.0E it had a suspected blown head gasket ( coolant was full of oil), i now have the head off and the gasket appears fine so i am suspecting the head.
does anyone know where i might be able to track down a recon head around perth?
i am in urgent need for the head as i am trying to get the car ready for the pits as my daily driver has just spat the dummy an died on me so i need wheels to get to work.
any info would be greatly recieved.
cheers guys.

sometimes mixing different antifreeze makes a brown muck in the coolant so may not not be blown head gasket. old and new audi antifreeze dont mix which causes this problem.

Hey thats no worries i appreciate the advice, i only wish it was as easy as coolants mixed though as i am having a hell of a time trying to get a head, its so disheartening i am seriously thinking of just scrapping it because i just cant find parts.

Almost certainly a crack in the head. They're a bear to fix too! Get it on down to Repo store (a big one) that has workshop facilities. They'll test and fix it for you.

Other alternative is find an Engine Reconditioner and get it to them. The most common wayto fix a cracked head is the drill and plug it but the castings on Audi heads tend to get stressed when you do this. Welding the crack(s) is the best way but after having had a Audi in Perth, I'd suggest you get on the phone to Sydney Wreckers and find a used one. Sorry I can't be more positive. I ended up selling my 2.0E and buying another one in Brisbane when I couldn't find anyone who didn't bow at the mention of the name.
