Exclamation AUDI CABRIO roof pump & air co problems

Was anyone ever faced with

- a power hood / roof problem in an AUDI CABRIO '97 model ?

Pump Engine drives but (sometimes) hood goes half his way up and stops, preferably when weather is HOT - very frustrating -. Have to finish the job manually, which isn't probably healthy for the boot's mechanism. No oil leak for what I can see. Older posts in this forum mention that some hidden electric wires may be cut off inside their holder, I would like to test these wires with an Ohm-meter but need an electric wiring scheme. Does anyone out there have such scheme ?

- air co problem

AUDI people say compressor and coolant pressure / level are all OK, so it's the electrical command which should be fault. Blue led on switch lights on when pressed, but nothing happens. So I suspect an electrical fault somewhere between switch and compressor (command wire, ground wire, relay ...). Any suggestion ?

And of course : AUDI folks won't help (unless they replace half of all car's parts)

THANKS !

Does the top motor(pump) stop running when the top stops moving? If so may be a sensor/switch. If pump continues to run, may be low on fluid. Should be a screw on the tank to remove and fill unit.
AC problem could be low refrigerant, bad clutch coil or bad low pressure switch. Jumper 12v to the clutch directly and see if it now engages, that will identify the coil or the other two.

Thanks for youyr reply! I partially solved the airco problem (main wire between fuse box and compressor was indeed fault).
But couldn't solve the roof problem. I adjusted the oil level in the pump, no improvement.
Indeed, when system stucks, pump still goes running for a while and then goes off during a few minutes (safety fuse engaged, I guess?). A sensor/switch you said ? Mmmm ... any place to look at in priority ?
Thanks for your support.
Sean.
