: 2002 A6 2.7 rear trim/heated seat switch replacement? - PICS

I've got an issue with one of my rear heated seat switches. It looks like someone rested their foot against it when they rode in the car before I bought it and it's slightly pushed in to the point where I can't roll it around past "3". I'm hoping there's some switch or trim part that I can buy online instead of having the $tealership do it. Any guides on how easy it is to get to the switch? Does the trim go back on easy? Any part numbers??

EDIT: I should say, it can't move it more then a few mm, it won't go to 2 or past 3. So I can't turn it off in the summer and it's only half useful in the winter...

Not positive, but I believe the rear vent assembly can be removed simply by sticking a putty knife along the top edge, and carefully prying it out. PM me your VIN number and I can get you a quote on a new heater controls/trim.

This is what I have without a VIN:

The seat heating switch is right here. (http://www.ecstuning.com/ES370718/?salesrep=PWinegardner&utm_source=audi-forums&utm_medium=forum&utm_content=PWinegardner&utm_campaign=postreply)

Trim around the switches/around the cigarette adapter. (http://www.ecstuning.com/ES367907/?salesrep=PWinegardner&utm_source=audi-forums&utm_medium=forum&utm_content=PWinegardner&utm_campaign=postreply)

I show two different part numbers for the big trim piece (around the vent, switches, etc) so I would need your VIN if you needed that guy.

My advice would be to take it apart and see if the heater control can be snapped back into place, to avoid purchasing a new one. At that point you can decide what you need! Let me know if you have any other questions.
