Hi,

I have an Audi Q7 with the basic cd/radio player installed.

Is it possible to get a kit that allows me to fit a standard after market stereo and still be able to use the steering wheel volume/tuner controls?

I would like to install another stereo which supports bluetooth audio streaming, but don't want to make all the nice built in controls dead.

Any help would be much appreciated. If such a kit is available, could you suggest some stereo units that would work well with it?

Thanks,

AFAIK there are no kits available or units that work with the steering wheel controls. You will also lose the DIS and all the CAR functions such as suspension level through the MMI if you remove that single CD/radio unit in the dash.

Everythings connected via Fiber. Its totally not worth it to try to remove or integrate with it. Its probably easier to run a whole new set of speakers and amp and head unit and leave the audi system alone.
