Technically BOV are not suitable for the 1.8 T engine but you can buy one which part recircs and part blows off which is the Forge Split-R valve...

I just bought one myself after having the Forge 007 divertor valve already - should get it installed next week ..

What happens if you run a normal bov? overfuel, stall, ecu problem with metered air deficit? how loud is the semi re circ. my mates after a decent noise but nothing seriously loud. ive had a semi re circ before and it was pretty quiet and only produced a sound when really giving it some.

My turbo was stock up un till 3 weeks before it got stolen when I was running my Hybrid K04 but then the TT is a K04 to start with.

I would buy the Baileys fitting kit which will have the blanking plates to block off the old DV location allowing you to cut the TB intakes pipe to slot in the ally T-pipe and mount the BOV.

was doing some poking around the forge website and found that I can get a forge split-r for $185 for 2001 tt 225 roadster... curious if I'm going to need some sort of fitting kit? I've heard a few people mention this, but wasnt sure... at $200 per fitting kit, I can see how this can easily (more than) double the price.

thanks!
