Exclamation How to replace the indicator lens on the wing mirror

Hi Guys

I have a 2007 Passat 2.0TDI (170) B6 estate and i have a cracked indicator lens that i need to replace, Does anybody know how to replace the indicator lens on the passenger side wing mirror, they are electrical operated, Any pics of anybody doing it or instructions on how to replace it, or advice would be great.

Thanks.

Default Here's how

Ok here is the answer

pour over some hot water over the wing mirror and leave for a minute. Next get hold of the top part of the casing and work it backwards - be carefull not to pull to hard as it may crack. Work it back so it comes off then you have access to the lens screws, replace the lens and put back the wing mirror cover it should go on quicker than it came off.

Enjoy.
