Default No spark coil #2

1999 Passat 1.8 AEB 83000 miles
I am not getting any spark from coil #2. I tested the coil on another power cable and it worked. I have a spare and I installed it on #2 and it didn’t fire as well. Is there a way to test the voltage at the ignition connector with a common ohm & voltmeter to see if the cable is good? I also checked the ICM with a diode test and came up with a. First pin 6.49 Second pin 6.52 Forth 6.49 Fifth 6.52. Im not sure if this demonstrates that the ICM is good. It won’t even run for more than thirty seconds now

Thanks so much for your replies
