Default radio reception

Hi,

For some reason after the car (A4) got washed, the radio reception has been a bit flakey with a sort of crackling sound almost like its not tuned properly. I took it to a valeting place and they used some sort of jetwash. I understand the aerial is on the rear window, (2 vertical lines). Surely they cannot have been damaged by the jetwash?! Millions of cars are cleaned this way. Any ideas please?

Thanks.

Old post i know, but has any solution been found ?

I would suggest to clean the rear window with proper windowcleaning stuff, there might be a waxlayer on it blocking your signal ?
