UK AUDI EVENTS???
Does anyone know any good Audi or motorsport events coming up in the near future in the UK.. I attend a lot of Rallys, Rallycross, Shows, Difting GP, Drag racing with my mates, ... however just wondering if any one goes to any events which i may like for a change.. Cheers

hi there,
fantastic action to be had on a little island called mull just off the west coast of scotland! called the tour of mull rally, website is www.2300club.org.uk great spectating in arguably the most torturing of tarmac rallying we've gone last 3 years banter brilliant and the drive there and back is awesome, stunning views of the scottish countryside. also the roads are brilliant especially if you go u thro glencoe, some great driving roads. any interest to you?! |

Its a bit of a trek up there from here.... saying that i did 650 miles from France in one go about 2 months ago! that only took 9 hours!!!! i unfortunately missed the jim clark as i was on holiday! rally normally goes past my house
when we go to mull we camp cos all accom usually booked up year in advance, plus its good banter too!! whats it like driving in france? i've never driven abroad, but few of us really want to go to the ring in germany jamie |

its a good laugh on the other side.....
takes about 10 mins to get into it and get your brain working opposite... but good... on the toll roads in France no issues, no heavy traffic foot down hard....and you still get over took be the french!! i did 300 miles in just over 2 and a half hours... you do the math.... 300miles divide by 160 minues multiple by 60 = 112.5 MPH avg.................. and there was the toll boths........... i would not mind doing the ring and visiting the audi factory and VW. me and a mate was on about it for this year but it will be next year now if we do it... This looks like a good day out for the audi enthusiast - Audi UK > Experience > UK Driving Experience
and you can drive some powerful models too wich you might not ever get too in real life.( I wish i had a rs4) |
