Default Bent rims. Should I have them repaired?

I have a 2001 A6 4.2 w/ 17" five spokes. Three rims bent from Chicago potholes. Can have them repaired for $150 per rim.
Has anyone had their rims straightened? Does it really work?

Looking for advice.

Thanks.

Dan

for 150 per rim man, I'd suggest just buyin whole new rims in general depending on what you have. I personally haven't had them fixed but 150 per seems a little expensive in my opinion, for like 50$ more you can get some pretty badass 17's you know?

I agree with makav, we sell our replica A8 wheels in the 17" for $369 plus shipping. We also have a bunch of 18" replica's that would fit your car: A8, B6 RS4, RS6 which all go for $469 plus shipping ($85).

PM me if you need more info.

keep in mind that if its a really bad bend, yur wheels can never be restored to 100% condition. when it comes to fixin big bends/cracks, u will lose some of yur wheel's strength in that particular area that was fixed. if u like yur current rims enough to fix them then try to look for a reputable business with lots of good feedback. 17" - 18" wheels can be bought for a little more than the price of yur rim repair costs.

side note: must've been a huge pothole to bend 17's!
