Which Tyres for a 2003 S3?

Which tyres would your recommend for a S3 (225 bhp) registered May 2003.

I have been quoted to fit Bridgestones 225/40/Y/18 - would you recommend these or are they too high quality? not good enough?

Thoughts and other recommendations please.

Bridgestones are spot on i use them on my A3 1.8 T and they grip well in the wet and seem yo be wearing well ..

How much have they quoted you a tyre ??
