anyone recommend a tire? and if i should go 30 or 35

sorry i dont know how to fix the size, and forgot to mention its a 02 a4

You should calculate the overall rim + tyre diameter. Try to get it as close as possible to the original diameter, otherwise your speedo and mileage display will not be accurate.

Here's a good link to read. Also has some nice Java calculators for wheel sizes.
