I have an A4 Avant Sport Package so the car rides very low - about 1.5 inches lower than stock. Can anyone suggest how much modification - either tire size or suspension adjustment - it would take to raise the ground clearance for a snowy clime (buying an Allroad is not an answer!)

buy an allroad! ..kidding..

you could probably find OEM stock (non-sport) springs and have them put on.
