Question 2001 TT 225hp: Check Engine with Stg 1

Several check engine lights have happened over the past year (3). The codes keep reading along the lines of "lean fuel" etc. I took the veh to the dlr had the code reset without any repairs required (per the dlr).

Took the veh to a good performance shop here in Atlanta. Had to get the reflash on Stage 1 (91 oct). The veh came back online with regards to the pull through out the power band. Check engine light on again...hence lack of power boost etc.

Any ideas out there with the constant check engine light matching the lack of power feed back with the Stage 1 Flash.

Regards,
