Unhappy HELP! 2nd check engine light

Okay, so I just bought my A4 a few weeks ago, and since then I have thrown a check engine light twice. The first time it had something to do with a "secondary air filtration". I haven't checked to see why I threw the second one yet because it just happened a few hours ago. I have been told that any time you throw a check engine light it has to do with an evap issue like a bad gas cap, or one that's not tightened properly for instance. First of all, what's the secondary air filtration..is it related to the turbo? Should I be very concerned about this? Is it pretty common? Thanks.

This may help.

Quote:
it wont effect power and i rarely see the pump go bad
try check the vacuum hose going to the kombi valve
also check the pipe off the pump that goes to the kombi valve for holes or leaks
and make sure nothing resricting the intake of the pump

Thank you. Ya, when I went to have the light turned off, the guy said something about it having to do with the pump. He said it would not affect anything though and if I took it to the dealer not to let them talk me into replacing it. He said it is somewhere around $ 1300.00. I am just going to take it in next week sometime and have the entire thing inspected.
