Not with a stock turbo because since the FMIC is alot larger than the stock intercooler it will reduce boost pressures and you will lose performance than what you had before with the stock intercooler.

Hi, dare I say that I disagree with statement about losing power. What you would find is that power wouldn't drop off as much when you start to push harder, due to lower intake temps, this in turn would allow you to have a more aggressive map. What turbo do you have?

I do not think you would lose power but i also dont think that you would gain very much out of it. the only thing your going to do is keep your intake temps low for a longer time. performance will not suffer on a hot day as much as with the stock, but if your running the factory boost seting you will have longer lag time and lower pressure after the intercooler.

When running a FMIC you tend to loose about 1psi of boost due to larger pipes (Generally) and the larger core.
You will notice that you will find that the power should remain constant and in some case depending on the weather maybe a slight increase in power if the temp drop as turbo perform better the colder it is but saying that on a stock turbo with no mapping I can see very little point fitting one.
