Thinking of chipping my new A6 2.7tdi quattro.
Found the part, like the price, but one question?

Will it effect my Audi warranty ?


Basic question, but any help welcome.

only if its detected,again refuse all recall updates to the engine management as this will remove the remap and possibly kill the ecu if the files are corrupted.You can refuse any recall/workshop actions without invalidating the warranty but a form of refusal will require completing by yourself at the dealer.(updates addressed to you from audi for example for software modifications,alwaysask the dealer for an explanation of the recall and the implications of refusal)
