Increase engine h.p. ?

Hi, I'm looking to increase the performance of
my Coupe 2.0e. It's only the 4 cyclider 8 valve version.
She's not that responsive in the upper rev range, certainly
passed 3,500 - 4,000 rev's she becomes fairly dead. Any ideas
regarding horsepower increase, etc.
Any response welcome.

yeah theres a few things you can do to increase hp bur at the cost of increased wear on your engine, split fire plugs, performance air filter (k&n etc.) or if you really want u can have a chip put into the fuel management system or have the heads skimmed there is loads u can do depends wot u want
