leg room? help me please!

okay, can someone explain to me how a dodge SRT-4 has more legroom then a 1997 bmw 740i? i mean iv sat inside the 740i, and there is SOOO MUCH more room then the SRT-4 yet it says on edmunds.com that the srt4 has more leg room?? WTF? are they smoking? someone please explaine this to me?////

Perhaps they have another basis for measuring a legroom of a car...
