Audi Cabriolet - common faults?

Hi all - this is my first post so please play nice!

I'm about to go look at this car with a view to buying: AUDI CABRIOLET 2.6 E (1998)
and I was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of any common faults with this model/year?

From what the seller says, it has around 50k miles on the clock.
I know a little about basic checks (ie. oil in the water, rust under the engine mounts/sills etc). but I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me what components are first to go on this model.

Hi sue welcome to the forum !!

If the mileage is genuine 50k and car has been fully serviced reguarly you really shouldnt have to much to worry about as Audi are built extremely well and with that mileage its barely run in ....

I cant really say ive seen to much posted about the 2.6 v6 having any major engine problems etc !!

You dont state wether its a manual or Automatc gearbox ?? but again should be ok ..
